John Bowman is a labor leader and community organizer. Over the last four decades he has dedicated himself to serving the people of North County. He previously served as an Alderman and a State Representative for 3 terms before stepping down due to a personal and professional setback. Rather than walking away, he embraced accountability and recommitted to service and working to fight to give every day people like himself a second chance. He currently serves as a Director for the Northeast Ambulance & Fire Protection District, an Airport Commissioner, and President of NAACP St. Louis County Branch. John is ready to take his years of experience in getting things done for the people of North County with him to the Missouri State Senate to represent District 14 and move the district and North County forward together.
Chris Clark, Candidate for Missouri Senate District 4
Chris Clark is an attorney, husband, and father running for Missouri’s 4th Senate District with a clear mission: to fight for affordability, safe streets, and strong schools for every family.
Grounded by his own experience as a parent raising young children, Chris understands the challenges families face — from rising costs of childcare and housing to concerns about neighborhood safety and access to quality education. He is ready to bring that lived experience, along with his legal expertise, to the State Senate to make government more responsive, equitable, and effective for all Missourians.

MARK OSMACK, CANDIDATE FOR ST. LOUIS COUNTY COUNCIL - DISTRICT 3
Mark Osmack is a combat veteran, public servant, and lifelong advocate for working families. A native of St. Louis County, he served two tours in Afghanistan with the U.S. Army before continuing his commitment to service here at home. Mark has worked in federal government and local leadership roles, bringing people together to solve tough problems and deliver real results. As a father of three daughters, he understands the importance of building a stronger, safer, and more affordable future for families across St. Louis County. Mark is ready to take his experience, discipline, and dedication to service with him to the County Council to represent District 3 and ensure every community in St. Louis County has the opportunity to thrive.
Councilwoman Nicole Greer, Creve Coeur City CounciL - Ward 2 & Candidate for Missouri House District 71
With roots as a grassroots community organizer, Nicole first stepped up to the call of service in 2020 when she joined the Creve Coeur City Council to represent Ward 2. She served 2 terms there and did not run for re-election during a bid for St. Louis County Council District 2. While that race was narrowly unsuccessful, by a margin of just 0.59%, her commitment to her community didn’t stop there. She is taking on the charge of rejoining the Creve Coeur City Council to continue serving the community there. She also took on the role of Creve Coeur Township Democratic Committeewoman in 2024 and serves as the Secretary for the St. Louis County Democratic Central Committee.
Now that Rep. LaDonna Appelbaum has reached her term limit in the Missouri House of Representatives, Nicole is taking on the calling of running to represent the people of Missouri’s 71st House District with Rep. Appelbaum’s support!
Kennedy moore, candidate for Missouri house district 73
Kennedy Moore is running for Missouri House District 73 and is ready to bring bold, community-driven leadership to Jefferson City. A proud former union member and longtime organizer, Kennedy has spent over a decade fighting for equity and justice — starting as a student leader during the 2015 Concerned Student 1950 movement at the University of Missouri.
As a former member of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 881 and now Senior Manager of Field and Programs at Abortion Action Missouri, Kennedy understands the needs of working families and how to turn grassroots organizing into real policy wins. She has helped pass paid family leave, raise the minimum wage, and enshrine reproductive rights into Missouri’s Constitution.
Kennedy is ready to bring her experience, energy, and commitment to working people to the Missouri House.
Alderwoman Tequila Gray, Ballwin Board of Aldermen - Ward 2
Tequila Gray proudly serves as the first Black woman ever elected to the Ballwin Board of Aldermen and is excitedly bring a new fresh perspective to the board. She is a wife, mother, and union member. Having worked for the last 12 years in a male-dominated field she knows what it’s like to work with people who are different than yourself and that it takes all kinds to offer unique and innovative solutions. She is ready to bring those skills to the board of aldermen.
SHEILA BURKETT, CANDIDATE FOR KIRKWOOD CITY COUNCIL
Sheila Burkett is running for Kirkwood City Council with a lifelong commitment to service and values-driven leadership. Raised in rural Missouri, Sheila learned early that strong communities are built when neighbors show up for one another — a principle that has guided her decades of civic involvement. From her service on the Kirkwood Human Rights Commission to leadership roles with the Arts and Education Council of Greater St. Louis and the YWCA Metro St. Louis, Sheila has consistently invested her time and talent into strengthening the region.
A successful entrepreneur and co-founder of Women Executives in Technology, Sheila has built coalitions, led growing organizations, and mentored the next generation of leaders. She currently serves on advisory councils at the University of Missouri–St. Louis and has held board leadership positions across St. Louis civic and business communities.
A two-time St. Louis Titan 100 honoree, Sheila is known for leading with empathy, transparency, and results. She’s ready to bring her experience, collaborative spirit, and heart for service to the Kirkwood City Council.
