TJV Consulting interns are an integral part of our campaign teams. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the ins and outs of political consulting, grassroots organizing, and campaign strategy. This position is part of our Internship & Fellowship Cohort Program, offering structured professional development, mentorship, and the opportunity to learn alongside a cohort of emerging political leaders.

Our Internship & Fellowship Cohort is designed to equip emerging changemakers with the skills, strategy, and hands-on experience needed to build and win people-powered campaigns. Through structured mentorship, collaborative learning, and real-world campaign work, participants develop practical expertise in field organizing, communications, fundraising, and political strategy—preparing them to lead with confidence and impact in their communities and beyond.
Position Overview
Interns support multiple aspects of campaign operations, including field, communications, fundraising, and research. This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals looking to build skills and deepen their understanding of the political process.
Pay: $16 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Assist with voter outreach efforts, including phone banking and canvassing
Support event planning and campaign logistics
Conduct research on policy, opposition, or community stakeholders
Help draft social media content and campaign communications
Provide administrative and data entry support
Qualifications
Strong writing and communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Interest in politics, public service, or community organizing
Prior campaign experience is a plus, but not required
