TJV Consulting Fellows are emerging leaders ready to take the next step in their political careers. Designed for individuals with prior campaign, organizing, or advocacy experience, the Fellowship offers advanced, hands-on training and meaningful responsibility on active campaigns.

This position is part of our Internship & Fellowship Cohort Program, providing structured professional development, mentorship, and the opportunity to collaborate with a cohort of peers committed to public service.

Our Internship & Fellowship Cohort is designed to equip emerging changemakers with the skills, strategy, and hands-on experience needed to build and win people-powered campaigns. Through structured mentorship, collaborative learning, and real-world campaign work, participants develop practical expertise in field organizing, communications, fundraising, and political strategy—preparing them to lead with confidence and impact in their communities and beyond.

Position Overview
Fellows play a key role in campaign strategy and execution, supporting field operations, communications, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement. This role is ideal for those who have worked on a campaign, in advocacy, or in community organizing and are ready for increased leadership and ownership.

Pay: $18 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead voter outreach efforts, including managing canvass shifts or phone banks

  • Assist in developing and executing field and communications strategies

  • Conduct policy and opposition research

  • Draft messaging, email content, and social media copy

  • Support fundraising outreach and event coordination

  • Mentor and collaborate with interns when appropriate

Qualifications

  • Prior campaign, organizing, or advocacy experience preferred

  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized and self-motivated

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

  • Passion for civic engagement and progressive change
