CANVASSER
At TJV Consulting, our canvassers are on the front lines of change. If you’re energized by conversations, care deeply about your community, and believe in the power of grassroots organizing, this role is for you. Canvassers are the face of our campaigns—connecting directly with voters, sharing our message, and helping build the people-powered momentum that wins elections.
Position Overview
Canvassers engage voters through door-to-door outreach, phone banking, and community events to support progressive candidates and causes. This role is ideal for strong communicators who are reliable, outgoing, and motivated by impact.
Pay: $20/hr
Key Responsibilities
Knock doors and have meaningful conversations with voters
Accurately record data and feedback in campaign systems
Distribute literature and share key campaign messages
Represent the campaign professionally and respectfully
Meet daily and weekly outreach goals
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable walking and working outdoors for extended periods
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Reliable transportation
Prior campaign or organizing experience is a plus, but not required
